Born in Lima, Peru.

Majo is interested in how the mind works, human behavior, and the effects and consequences of time. She works primarily with photography and installation.

She is currently pursuing a graduate degree at Parsons School of Design. She graduated from the International Center of Photography, New York, in 2016 and has a B.A. in Communications and Media at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas, Lima. She also has diplomas from Central Saint Martins, the University of Arts London; Universidad Europea de Madrid; LENS; Royal College of Art, London; and Centro de la Imagen, Peru. Her work has been shown internationally including Casa de América, Madrid; the United States Embassy of Peru, Lima; Museo Mario Testino (MATE), Lima; and the International Center of Photography, New York City, among others.

In 2020, she finished a residency at the International Studio & Curatorial program (N.Y.), where her studio was funded by the Yoko Ono Foundation, Alice and Lawrence Weiner, the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, in partnership with the City Council, the Natasha Gelman Foundation, and the New York State Council of the Arts, with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
