CUERPO (Body in spanish) is an installation of 8 sounds recorded out of my own body in a studio. Each sound is amplified through its own speaker.
For 24 hours the spectator can hear my saliva, heart, stomach, heair, blood flow, breath and skin. The sound surrounds the room. A rare, uncomfortable symphony is created. It is also uncomfortable to myself.
This intent of sound sculpture aims to speak of the human body from the most possible objetive point of view. The uncommon symphony, more similar to a cavern, invites the listener to unlearn previous biased ideas and understand the body a double-sided tool: of pain and pleasure - that allows us to experiment this world.
